Eric Wedemeyer joined Cove-Ito Advertising in Tokyo in 1984 as Creative Director.
He established his own marketing consultancy in the U.S. in 1988 before returning to Cove-Ito in 1990 as Vice President in charge of Strategic Marketing Services and Planning.

In 2002, he was appointed concurrently as Chief Executive of Cove-Ito Interactive, the agency's online and Internet marketing unit.

He is now CEO of Tactus Associates, which provides strategic branding, marketing, research and communications services to Japanese and international clients.

Eric has over 20 years' experience in strategic brand development and management, heading new branding initiatives for Aussie Beef, Canada (for the Canadian Embassy in Japan), AIU and others, as well as long-term brand management and communications programs for BMW, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, MINI, Red Bull, Nordica, Michelin, De'Longhi, Remy Martin and other leading international brands. He joined International Marketing Plus in 2009.
